After a couple of hours of trying to figure out how to set my pictures in the sidebar to be random, either by using a Flickr badge or by getting the RSS feed to somehow magically just become random, I have decided to surrender, because I am sleepy and it turns out I can’t anyway. Blasted thing. So enjoy the three most recent pictures I’ve uploaded, because that is all you will EVER see. :(

Whoa.

For some reason, it did not occur to me until an hour ago that I can probably put an entry on private, rather than making it password protected. CRAZIES! I don’t know why I never thought to do that. I know it can be done on other blogs. I think it’s because all my options on the side are minimized and the only one that was straight forward was the one titled “Post Password”. Man..who knows how many private entries I can make without you people knowing it now. This is amazing! I could have a private entry between every post for all you know! Wow! hahaha. I know this isn’t that exciting for people who do it all the time, but I never have so it’s kind of cool. I probably won’t really have many private posts though. And you know what else? I forget my protected entries’ passwords anyway!

So I’m giving up on that search engine thing because it’s too much work and work is a four-letter word. But I want to share some recent ones that are kind of funny. reggae song about dating more mature If anyone knows what song this is, please tell me. I’m intrigued. I even searched this term myself and it turns out I’m the first one on the list. highs of being a couple Friend, there is no such thing. hehe. Kidding. From what I know, there aren’t really like set “highs,” but I guess one of the highs is getting gifts. haha. :D

Host risen from the dead

Apparently my tiny amount of webspace resurfaced without my knowing it, so now you can be inconveniently referred to this blog through a splash page once again! YAY!? I’ve wanted my own space for my domain for so long, but now I’m not sure why. I don’t have any content to put up and I have never been much of a designer. I would like to host my own blog because there are thousands of other blogs with the same exact layout and I don’t like that all too much, but the hosts of my domains have always been so unreliable that I end up losing all the stuff I’ve typed up. But at least now I’ve got my intro page back. haha. I can at least put up my attempt at being an artist there. Perhaps Google will take me back with open arms now. Ever since my host disappeareded, my domain has disappeared off Google and instead, my Threadless account shows up. hahaha. It’s kind of odd. Yes, I do look to see how much web presence I have. Vain, I know.

Where’s all the insight?

Oh my, there seems to be a shortage of blogging here. How rude of me to make people uninterested in my mediocrity. For some reason, ever since I switched over to this blog, I haven’t felt like I’ve had a lot to say. It’s nothing like back in the day when I would go through my day, occasionally coming across an event that would force me to think, OMG I have to blog about this, which is…kind of sad, I must say, but I liked it. I like having a story to tell and recently I’ve had few. I’m not even entirely sure what I did this past weekend. I recall eating steak, working, and watching episodes upon episodes of What Not To Wear with my sick sister, all while happily burning stuff off my computer and enjoying the newfound free space on my harddrive. Wooweee! I took pictures with my doggle and I took some pictures of some blossoming trees in the backyard. I believe that was about it. I pretty much gave up on reading The Alchemist for my extra credit paper, but I do intend on finishing it anyway, because it’s been interesting so far. Oh yes, I finished up Michelle’s hobo gloves and started on a scarf. It shall be the fairest of them all.

Man, this Daylight Savingsness sucks. I woke up with a headache for, like, the first time this year. I guess it’s not so much the time change’s fault as it is mine, since I didn’t go to bed until 4, but still…yeah. I swear my computer had changed its time by the time I was using it on Sunday, but yesterday it was back to normal time and that totally confused me when my roommate said that it was 6 but my computer said it was 5. I can never trust it again. I’m just kidding, Drew, Jr. I love you. Please don’t cry. As I thought about it after that moment when I realized my time was off, I wondered if the time really had changed on my computer, because I really don’t look at it much. What a mystery. I changed it manually, so whatevers.

This week is gonna be busy busy. Next week is finals week. Tod x_X There is much to do! But the reward will be soon after. Spring breeeeeak! I want to learn guitar. Anyone wanna teach me? I can pay you in candy and drawings of rainbows. If I can buy a guitar (even if it’s crappy) sometime soon, it will be my goal of spring quarter to learn the ways of the hot singer-guitarists. Heck yes.

By the way, this weather is intense. I don’t remember spring being this hot. Just a few weeks ago it was cold and rainy. What therr. I need to go buy a new kite that I can bring to school. :P

IT’S OVER!!!!

I’M FINALLY DONE AND ALL WARM AND TOASTY AT HOME!! Ugh I’m so glad to be out of that place! I got food for my sister and she decided to eat it in the parking lot, but I got really impatient because I just could not stand being there anymore, so I asked if we could just leave already. I’m so happy to be home! I already met up with a couple Freundinnen and we watched Thank You For Smoking. Super good movie! I had been wanting to watch it for quite a while and finally got toooo. Yay! And we’re going to a pants party on Saturday! WOOooo!

There’s so much I want to do this break. I especially want to KNIT! And read. And snowboard. And, and, and…lots of stuff. The biggest challenge will be cleaning my room. I hope I get around to that this year. I need to go shopping for my Secret Santa because I only have like 11 days. Ah! I also need to shop for other people and whatnot, but luckily, I have all break! :D Well, minus a few days because I’m going to Utah with the fam. I’ve been telling people it’s to hang out with my Mormon siblings, but really, I’m going on a Chinese tour and we’re not actually going to Salt Lake City, I don’t think. I’ve already done that Chinese tour anyways. It was quite awesome. The Mormon HQ is really an amazing place and I loved that they had translators for pretty much every language of the world, EVEN for Cantonese! Not just Mandarin! Like OMG!

I ended up Undie Running and it was a blasty. I managed not to hurt myself so that’s another reason to be excited. I’d cry if I hurt myself right before break, since ’tis the season for snowboarding! I went with my super fun RT963 buddies (minus Shawna! :( ) in our nude suits! Just kidding. We’re saving that for next Undie Run because Michelle’s buying them for everyone for Christmas. Oh shoot, I just ruined her Christmas surprise. hahaha. Not really. I had an econ final the next morning at 8am but it wouldn’t really have been affected by my choice of running or not because either way I was screwed for the final, so why not go? It was totally an economic decision. haha. Sigh. Jia you!

PS I CANNOT believe the Jennie-O Turkey people beat me on Google. I’m mad at them. They could not just let me have ONE good thing in this world?? As if they aren’t already popular enough? Geebus.

Never too late to thanksgive

I haven’t been online all too much for the past month. The other day I even almost forgot to register for my classes. haha. Supersux. I had to do it right before we got our eats on at the Freundinnen potluck. Anyway, I haven’t been on enough to remember to write a post about what I’m thankful for, because everyone’s soooo doing it and this is one of the few things I’d like to jump onto the bandwagon for. Thanksgiving is sort of the same as any day for me, except I don’t have school for four days. Just how I like it. Wahaha. I thank people sincerely, sometimes sarcastically (but they know that), all the time, but during this period of time we stop to think about it more. SO here’s some of what I’m thankful for!
-friends! Especially Freundinnen and close friends at school <3
-famareee (including the doggle). I miss them so much when at schoolio.
-that my voice didn’t become permanently yucks from being sick
-good movies and tv shows that came out this year
-having a home and food and all those things we take for granted
-Target, ’nuff said.
-veggies
-music! Waalllooowww <3
-the good weather of California. Beats monsoons and blackouts any day.

There’s lots to be thankful for and this list isn’t everything. It’s just what I could think of off the top of my head. Hope everyone had a super weekend and ate a lot and isn’t too depressed that we have to go back to school/work.

PS Does someone want to host my domain? I don’t take up much space, I swear. :D

An hour and a half until freedom

I’m sitting in a computer lab, getting my free printing on. Woohoo! I so want to go home asap because I’ve been at school too long. I know a lot of college kids don’t get the luxury of going home every weekend like I do and don’t actually find it a treat to stay over a weekend (because my parentals don’t like that much), but mang, I just want to go hoooomeee to my famaree and friends. I can’t wait to see my Freundinnen for our potluck! I still have one more class to go and then I’m free..but I’ll still be here until my sister gets off work. Bah. I guess I’ll just wreak havoc in the dorms. Weeee.

So I’ve been wondering where all my visitors are coming from, because according to my stats, I pretty much don’t know who any of you are. Usually the only people who visit are friends who are wondering how I’m doing, because I’m sort of like a phantom and no one really sees me besides my roommate, but recently I’ve been getting an unusual mix of visitors to this site and I don’t know how they’re getting here. One of my theories is that people are looking up stuff for Jennie-O turkeys, because Thanksgiving is almost here, and they can’t spell. Unfortunately I can’t see what people are searching anymore, but I do know that I show up first when you Google “jennio”. Go me :D

I’M HERE

HELLO!! Yes I’ve decided on coming back to WordPress. I chose to come back to them but this time my online feelings journal is going to be hosted by them, instead of me trying to work something out on my webspace, because really, I cannot code for beans and my layout was suxors. This way I can choose a template and slowly learn to do stuff. If they don’t allow it then at least I’ve got a wider selection of templates, no? I have no more host, it turns out. I suppose Daro and I will go about purchasing some space eventually but we are currently incapable of doing so due to our financial circumstances. Translation: Both of us are freaking poor, okay? Get off our backs. Geez. :D

We threw a not-so-surprising surprise party for Michelle, which was pretty funny, but I must talk about this another time, because I’m supposed to be studying for cal-CU-lus, not blogging.
